Practical Daily Information
What to wear
1
Please send children in practical, washable clothes that encourage independent toileting. Named outdoor gear is required for all-weather play: sun hats/sun cream for hot weather; welly boots, coats, and hats for cold weather.
Snacks, drinks & lunches
2
Fresh fruit/savoury snacks and milk/water are provided every morning and afternoon session. For lunch, please send labelled packed lunches with healthy options. Fizzy drinks are not permitted, and unheated containers will be returned home so you can monitor eating.
Toileting & nappies
3
We support toilet training with child-sized toilets and potties. Children in nappies are welcome (families supply nappies/wipes).
Collection procedures
4
Parents/carers must sign the collection log in the corridor. If an unauthorized adult is collecting your child, you must notify room leaders by telephone in advance.
Online safety
5
More and more children in the early years have their own tablets or borrow their parents devices to play games, use apps and watch their favourite tv programmes.
Here is some advice on simple things you can do to make sure they’re staying safe online.
